PhD Candidate · Cornell University · Computational Biology
I am a PhD candidate working on computational biology. My work sits at the intersection of human statistical genetics, population genetics, machine learning and genomics, with a focus on developing efficient algorithms for analyzing large-scale biological data.
I am advised by Prof. April Wei and affiliated with the department of Computational Biology at Cornell University. Previously, I studied at Sun Yat-sen University, UC Berkeley, UCLA and Columbia University.
GRG is a graph-based encoding that enables fast and efficient whole-genome analysis in large-scale biobanks, addressing the challenges of scalability and performance in WGS data processing.
GitHub →Grapp is a GRG-based library for tackling problems in statistical and population genetics.
GitHub →Alvari enables ridge regression for whole-genome variants, providing accurate polygenic score prediction and causal inference simultaneously.
GitHub →plotkit is a versatile plotting library designed for creating publication-quality graphics in python.
